(Alphabetized By Last Name)

Lynnette BlaneyLynnette Blaney (Rose) - Lynnette has been acting since she starred in "The Bionic Pickle" when she was in third grade. This is her third show with Lambda Players, having portrayed "Mrs. Lottie" Caine among other characters in Burnt Fields and "Catherine Holly" in Suddenly Last Sumner. She hopes everyone enjoys watching the show as much as she has enjoyed being in it.

Matthew BurlingameMatthew Burlingame (Director) - Matthew is well known to Lambda Players' audiences both as a director and playwright and has worked with Lambda Players in one capacity or another for the past 10 years. Directing credits include Hedwig & the Angry Inch, Southern Baptist Sissies, Just Us Girls, The Coming Out Party and last season's revival of Sordid Lives. His plays, Nine Eleven, Written on the Hill and Countess Dracula were well known audience favorites as well as Paperclip Messiah which will see a revival production in July 2010. Opening Lines marks the fifth Tom Swanner play he has directed. He thanks the cast and crew for a wonderful, relaxed rehearsal experience and Tom, Dave and Kurt for their support behind the scenes.

Micail BuseMicail Buse (Jack) - Micail's been here and there and done stuff - mostly theatre - Nearly forever. Maybe since the beginning of time.

Cynthia DavisCynthia Davis (Diane) - Cynthia is incredibly grateful to be in the cast of this revival of Opening Lines, as she was also cast in it about 10 years ago. Since then she got her Master's Degree in Mathematics Education, did some of acting in some awesome shows, and became a mommy to two beautiful children. One of whom, indeed, makes poops in the potty; the other is far from it. She has a degree in Drama from UC Irvine and is always grateful when she has the time and opportunity to do some acting. In that vain, she would like to thank Matthew for the "call". Also, she would like to express her undying gratitude to her daughter and son for putting up with mommy's busy schedule and to her incredibly sweet and handsome husband for playing the single parent this past couple of weeks.

William Greenhalgh (Stage Manager) - William has been a part of the Lambda Players' team for over a year now, working tirelessly on many recent productions. A board member for the troupe, he has enjoyed being a part of Lambda's tech team which also allows him to spend more time with his partner Mahlon. He previously worked with director Matthew Burlingame on Sordid Lives and was thrilled to be asked to stage manage Opening Lines. He thanks the cast and crew for making this such an enjoyable experience and wishes everyone a fabulous run.

Mahlon HallMahlon Hall (Chris) - Mahlon has worked in community theatre for the past 20 years, starting on the east coast with Dinner theatre and now in Sacramento. Musicals he has appeared in include company, dames At Sea, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way to The Forum, Pajama Game, and Brigadoon. Since living in Sacramento he has appeared in Burnt Fields, Sordid Lives, dear Harvey and The Nun Crashers for Lambda Players, as well as Extreme Unction and the Thistle Dew. Fresh from Kookaburra's Beyond Therapy he is happy to tackle the part of Chris in Opening Lines and thanks for cast and crew for their unending support.

Brian JuddBrian Judd (Louis) - This is Brian's umpteenth show with Lambda and his third show under the wonderful direction of Matthew Burlingame. He is thrilled to be on stage playing a role that was written by his co-reviewer Tom Swanner. Brian is just as bitter and jaded as he appears on stage; he lives alone in a cold and drafty house that has too many rooms and he likes it that way, dammit! Brian would like to dedicate his performance to his boyfriend Jim. Brian and Jim have been together since Brian turned 21, and Brian can't imagine life without warm embrace of Mr. Beam.

West RamseyWest Ramsey (Richard) - West performed in his first Lambda Players production, The Baltimore Waltz in 1994. He has performed in several plays for LP over the years and is excited to be working with such a great director, cast and crew. West first began performing community theatre, playing the role of Charlie Brown, in the late mid-eighties, when he was in his early late-twenties. Some of his favorite roles include Peter Knight in Out of Sight...Out of Murder, Android 314 in Carhops in Bondage, Gordon in They Came from Mars and Landed Outside the Farndale Avenue Church Hall in Time for the Townswomen's Guild's Morning Coffee, Amos in Chicago, and Elwood in Harvey. West has also acted in various extremely independent local feature length and short films, most notably, so far, Monster from Bikini Beach for Trash Film Orgy.

Tom SwannerTom Swanner (Author) - Tom has been with Lambda Players for the past 10 years and is currently the troupe's Artistic Director. Opening Lines was his first play and he is proud to see it return to the Lambda Players' stage after 10 years. Swanner is well known for his original productions including Trolling, Just Us Girls, Countess Dracula and I Do-I Don't, all of which were first directed by Matthew Burlingame. When not at the theatre Tom is part of the film review team Swanner & Judd which could be found at swannerandjudd.com. He wishes to thank Matthew for always breathing so much life into his words and an excellent cast and crew for being party of this production.
